Two Israelis have been injured at Rimon Junction near Binyamin. This is the second attack in two days. The shooting attack hit a car and left one person seriously wounded and another lightly wounded.

On the eve of new peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Palestinian terrorists have murdered four Israelis while driving in Kiryat Arbanear Hebron. The four killed were residents of Beit Hagai.

UNIFIL, the United Nations security force deployed to maintain peace on the Israel-Lebanon border, has confirmed Israel’s position that all soldiers were working within Israel when a Lebanese Army sniper fired across the international border killing two Israeli soldiers.

I have written about Iran on this blog in 293 posts. The first mention of Iran on this site was on July 14, 2006. The first mention of Iran seeking nuclear weapons was on December 12, 2007. It has been about two and a half years since that time, and Israel and the United States have made no real actions to stop Iran from having a nuclear program.

The initial steps have been taken to turn on the Bushir nuclear reactor in Iran. Russia is bringing fuel to Iran to load into the reactor, though it may take months for the station to begin producing electricity.

Around 10:30am on August 3rd, a group of IDF soldiers was clearing brush long the Israel-Lebanon border fence when a sniper began firing. The Israelis were reportedly in two groups, and the more senior officers from the group were the ones that took completely unprovoked fire.

PA President Abbas is up to his, and Arafat’s, old tricks again. He tells the West in English that he recognizes Israel and seeks peace. He turns around and says something completely different to the Arab world in Arabic.

In Egyptian Al-Wafd, Hamas leader and co-founder Mahmoud al-Zahhar explained its strategy toward Israel. It does not want a peaceful neighbor, it wants to slowly destroy the country. There is little room here for interpretation.
