Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg were buried in Jerusalem today after a memorial in Kfar Chabad near Tel Aviv. The two were murdered in the India terrorist attacks last week in Mumbai. The Israeli military offered to help the Indian police forces in ending the terrorist siege in Mumbai, but were “politely” turned down. In the end nearly 200 are dead (current count) and hundreds more and wounded. The Chabad Rabbi and his wife were killed along with two Israelis and an American in the Jewish Center. [...]

The Jewish Center in Mumbai, home to Chabad and other Jewish groups, was stormed by Indian special forces. A shootout followed inside the building. No news on those inside. I fear the worst with no news of what has happened. UPDATE: 5 hostages are dead in the Jewish center.

The latest numbers show over 120 dead and indicate that many Jews were included. The terrorists took control of multiple hotels and other large buildings. Included was the home of Chabad.
