WANTED:
- Technology/Medical Blogger
- Entertainment/Sports Blogger
- Knesset/Politics Blogger
- Other Niche Bloggers (You Pick What Your Write)
WANT TO JOIN THE TEAM? We are always looking for fresh opinions and new bloggers to help with our efforts. Just fill out the contact form for information on applying.
Information to include:
- Name – First only is fine if you want privacy
- Background – Where did you grow up, where do you live, and why are you interested in Israel.
- What Israeli political party do you support and why – Please don’t say independent, it is just to learn a bit about you.
- A sample “guest post” that we can evaluate for quality content and writing style. Once you send this to us, we have the right to post it (and probably will) as a “guest post” to introduce you to the crowd.
Things To Know Before Applying -
- You pick your own schedule, which can be adjusted at any time, but we ask that you stick to it for consistency of post frequency. Typically, people like to write something once per week, though we have had daily posters in the past.
- Grammar and spelling are important. This is a written medium in English, and excellent English is important.
- We don’t have to always agree, but you know if you fit in right. We can disagree on lots of things, but anti-Israel writing will not be accepted.
- This is the Internet. Lots of people will like what you have to say and lots will not. We might even engage in a debate ourselves. Just because we don’t agree does not mean we don’t want you around. If you can’t handle a debate and criticism, you might not be fit for blogging in general.
- You will undergo a trial period in which you will send us your posts for editing and approval. Once you pass the trial period, you will be given the freedom to post at will.
- Posts have to be original. You can link back to another site, but posts can’t be cross posted without explicit prior permission. This is for search engine reasons.
What You Get
You get exposure on a popular Israel blog, a writing portfolio, and links back to your websites. You are also helping spread emet (truth) about the current Israel situation. All revenue generated by the site goes back into hosting and development costs. (No bloggers, owner included, are paid for posts on the site)
If this is a bit too intense for you, please consider guest posting.
