After Missile Tests, Iran’s President Says Israel and US Will Die

Just hours after two days of long range missile tests, Iran‘s president made a bold statement, that Israel and the United States will soon die.

“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad… assured that the United States and the Zionist regime of Israel will soon come to the end of their lives,” the Iranian president was quoted as saying. (From YNet)

This is yet another move that will undoubtedly raise tensions between the west (Israel and the United States) and Iran.

The comments took place during a meeting between the Iranian president and the foreign minister of Syria. It is important to note that Syrian and Hezbollah (of Southern Lebanon) have historically been an ally in their battle to destroy Israel.

Iran‘s president also called on regional countries to join in the fight to destroy Israel. Recently, Iranian Grad rockets were fired by Hamas from Gaza and injured 31 Israelis in a medical clinic in Askelon.

With recent aggressive comments and actions by Iranian leadership, it is important for the United States and Israel to prepare for anything. We all remember the disastrous preparation for the war with Lebanon two years ago, and we all remember the crushing power of the Israeli army in 1967. Under Olmert’s leadership, I hope the IDF does not make the same mistake twice. It is time to be ready to attack Iran and hold nothing back. They are building nuclear bombs and have missile that can fire those bombs into Israel. I hope the anti-missile defense systems are up and ready, and I hope the Israel Air Force is ready to go. War is imminent.
