What a wonderful travelogue. Your mother was almost in my position when I first went back in 2005. I hadn't been there since we made yeridah, in 1981! Israel is an amazing place. And now, I have 3 kids and 3 new grandkids there, whom I MUST see, bim'hayrah bi'yameinu, amen! Eric, I am sitting here reading this and pining to be back! What a wonderful travelogue.
