An Open Letter to Readers and Supporters

I just sent this e-mail to over 5,800 supporters of the cause Support Israel Against Propoganda and Lies on Facebook.  I liked it so much, I decided to share it with you as well.

Hello everyone.  I have never sent out an e-mail to all of you before, but I wanted to share an opportunity with all of you.

In addition to maintaining this cause (thanks for being a member) and regular Israel advocacy, I maintain a blog called The Israel Situation.  The blog’s focus is on life and politics in Israel and the Middle East.

In the wake of the recent Flotilla events, the ongoing threat from Iran, and the United States government’s unreasonable recent support of Palestinian interests over those of Israel, I have been working to build the blog.  That is where you come in.

We currently have a team of three regular bloggers, myself included, that write about current issues surrounding Israel.  We are looking for more bloggers to write on more topics and keep the truth out there.  This is a chance do help Israel without spending a dime.  I am specifically looking for the topics below, but I am open to suggestions if you have ideas.

Politics Blogger – Cover political parties, politicians, elections, and action at the Knesset.

International Affairs Blogger – Find news and stories about Israel’s diplomacy and interaction with other countries.

Technology/Medical Blogger – Write about new development and ways Israel is helping the world

Culture Blogger – Write about sports, entertainment, and events around Israel

Judea and Samaria Blogger – Write about Jewish life in the yeshuvim (West Bank Israeli towns) and issues impacting Israel’s residents outside of the Green Line

Israel on Campus Blogger – Discussions of how college students in North America are treating Israel and what can be done to defend and promote the truth on campus

Oleh Chadash – Chronicle your move to Israel and what you learn along the way

IDF Experiences – A soldier discussing the ins and outs of joining and living in Israel’s military
