Palestinian Jailed for Selling Land to Jew

A 44 year old man was sentenced to 10 years in Palestinian prison for selling land to a Jewish man.  The Palestinian Ma’an News Agency reported that the man was convicted under a law from 1960 which considers the act of selling land to a Jew as collaboration with an enemy state.  His sentence was original sentence of 15 years in prison was reduced to 10 years with hard labor.

And this is the group of people we are supposed to make peace with?  It is against the law for Palestinians to engage in what most of us consider an every day business transaction because we are “the enemy.”  That gives us something to think about.
