Join the Team or Guest Post at IsraelSituation.com

by Eric on June 18, 2010

It has been a long time since I wrote about this topic, so I thought I would take a few minutes to share our rules for guest posting and openings to join the team.

You can read our entire guest posting policy at the “Guest Posting” page.  Just to clarify, here are some important points:

  • All guest posts must be 100% original content just for this site.  We are happy to include a link or two back to your site and you are encouraged to link to your guest post.  Google severely penalizes sites with duplicate content.
  • We do not have to agree with the post.  You are free to critize Israeli decisions and leaders.  However, you are not allowed to be anti-Israel or break any laws, such as slander.
  • You can write on any Israel or Middle East related topic you want, but we have the right to edit or reject any post.  It is a good idea to e-mail first through the contact form if you have an idea for a post.

You can read all of the rules and benefits of joining Anthony, Joel, and myself as a regular writer on this site at the authors page.  We are no longer accepting applicants for general blogging.  We do have the following spots open.  You are also encouraged to suggest something if you are passionate about a specific topic.  You pick your own writing schedule if you join up.

  • Politics Blogger – Cover political parties, politicians, elections, and action at the Knesset.
  • International Affairs Blogger – Find news and stories about Israel’s diplomacy and interaction with other countries.
  • Technology/Medical Blogger – Write about new development and ways Israel is helping the world
  • Culture Blogger – Write about sports, entertainment, and events around Israel.
