Benjamin Netanyahu is Not Stupid

I wonder if Netanyahu is taking policy advice from this blog?  It would seem so, as just a few days ago I discussed that there is not anyone worth talking to in the PA for a peace agreement, as the PA seems shaky with Abbas at best and Hamas would not follow the Fatah directive for peace anyway.

Netanyahu spoke to a Likud MK group at the Knesset and said that the Palestinians are just running away from meaningful discussions and that there is nothing Israel can do at this point.

In the mean time, Palestinians are threatening to declare a state unilaterally at the United Nations.  A group of United States senators visiting Israel, including Democrats and Republicans, said that the United States would veto any UN Security Council resolution to recognize a state called “Palestine.”

So, where are we?  Stalemate.  Just where we have been for many, many years.
