Iran Reveals Secret Nuclear Facility

by Eric on September 25, 2009

The Iranian government has revealed a second nuclear enrichment facility to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).  The formerly secret facility is claimed to be for peaceful purposes.  If so, why was it such a big secret until now?

Another site in question is being pointed to by United States, British, and French intelligence.  Those countries are pointing to a secret facility about 100 miles southwest of Tehran.  President Barack Obama has suggested that the site houses as many as 3000 nuclear centrifuges and is located deep underground.  The three countries’ leaders are demanding that Iran allow IAEA inspectors in immediately.

Additionally, two exiled Iranians identified two additional nuclear research sites.  The two members of Paris based Mujaheddin-e Khalq said that the sites are being used exclusively for bomb research including testing nuclear weapon triggers.
