Israel Will Hold Lebanon Accountable for Hezbollah Attacks

by Eric on August 11, 2009

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he does not consider Lebanon a current enemy, but will hold any future government coalition that includes Hezbolah accountable for any attack from Lebanese soil.

If you ask me, rightfully so. Just like any attack from Gaza is the responsibility of Hamas and any attack from Ramallah or Jenin is the responsibility of the PA, Lebanon should be responsible for controlling its citizens.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister is holding talks with Hezbollah leaders about including them in a future government. That would be a big mistake for Lebanon. Unlike the Olmert government, Netanyahu will hold nothing back in a future war with Hezbollah.
