Hannah Montana Comes to Israeli TVs

by Eric on August 31, 2009

The Disney Chanel is going to join HOT and YES television lineups on September 8th, and will bring with it the likes of Hannah Montana and High School Musical.

YES is planning on offering the channel at no additional charge.  HOT is going to give it for free for a trial period, but will then charge an extra subscription fee.

Currently, Nickelodeon has a monopoly on children’s programs.  Sorry Spongebob, you have new competition in town.  Disney plans to bring dubbed versions of popular shows and movies along with a series of unique shows with Israeli actors and locations.

This might not be news to some readers, but 12 year old Israeli girls are probably really excited!
