Looking back on Yom Yerushalayim, the holiday is as important as it has ever been. Many parts of the United Nations and virtually the entire Muslim world want to see Israel divided again. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will do everything in his power to keep that from happening. I salute him for standing up for his ideals.
“United
Jerusalem is Israel’s capital.
Jerusalem was always ours and will always be ours. It will never again be partitioned and divided.”
The Jerusalem Post caught Bibi’s sentiments perfectly, and his views mirror most of the Jewish world.
The Israeli people were very clear on what they want from their leaders. The strong showing of parties like Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu show that Israelis are tired of failed peace initiatives. Until a real partner for peace exists, security is more important than talking. And until the other side concedes that Jerusalem is a Jewish city, there is nothing to talk about.
