Yom HaShoa and Durban II

by Eric on April 20, 2009

Today everyone in Israel stands silent and still for one minute in honor of those killed in the Shoa (Holocaust). As Israel and the Jewish people take a day to remember the six million Jews killed in the Nazi orchestrated genocide, the world’s attention is turned to Geneva where the second United Nations conference on racism is beginning.

Jew hater and Iranian President Ahmadinejad led a rally inciting the world against Israel. The United States, Canada, Israel, and several other noble nations have boycotted this anti-racism conference that was once turned into a platform for anti-Semitism.

The world is joining together in a new conference that will likely be turned into an Israel bashing session as we mourn the loss of 6 million Jews. People around the world must remain vigilant to ensure a second Shoa led by Iranian nuclear weapons does not take place.

I hope Israel and the rest of the world are watching closely.
