Settlers and Palestinians Clash Near Bat Ayin

by Eric on April 8, 2009

Just a week after a Palestinian brandishing an axe murdered two children, Bay Ayin residents and neighboring Palestinians had a violent clash.

Settlers say that Palestinians began throwing rocks at them while reciting the Birchas HaChama blessings. Palestinians say that a group of Jewish Bat Ayin residents entered their village and began to damange property.

Based on Pallywood history, I am going to side with the Jews on this one. I find it unlikely that settlers would enter Hirbat Safa and begin a rampage. This is like the time we sent pigs into the West Bank maybe?

16 people were injured in the scuffles.
