An axe wielding Palestinian entered the Bat Ayin settlement and murdered a 16 year old boy, Shlomo Nativ, and injured a seven year old child.
This act was atrocious. The IDF claims to have a lead on the perpetrator of the attack. A hero stepped in and disarmed the attacker while calling for help.
My thoughts are with the families of the victims of this attack. As calm as the West Bank has been lately, this is a particularly unpleasant way for the silence to be broken. What kind of animal would kill a child?
