Palestinian Grad Rocket Hits Synagogue

by Eric on March 6, 2009

Thursday evening a Grad rocket fired from Gaza hit a synagogue in Southern Israeli city Netivot. The building was damaged but no one was injured. This was one of nine rocket and mortar attacks that took place Thursday.

The IDF responded by bombing four smuggling tunnels in Gaza. If the IDF already knows where the tunnels are, why wait for more attacks to “respond,” why not just take care of the problem in the beginning?

The Israeli government lays full blame for all attacks originating in Gaza as they are the only governing body in the territory. Under “international law”, any attack originating from a territory is the responsibility of the government of that territory. Any attacks is also an official declaration of war.
