Netanyahu "Committed" To Peace

by Eric on March 26, 2009

Benjamin Netanyahu has been demonized by the United States as a hard liner who will not support the peace process. Bibi and his supporters claim that is far from the truth.

Netanyahu does want to see peace, but he has different ideas of how to get there. He has the right idea if you ask me. Under the old plan, we sit and take relentless rocket attacks. Under the Bibi plan, Israel defends itself. Netanyahu wants to work to peace by starting with Palestinian economic progress rather than simply cutting to the end goal. That makes sense to me.

Peace will not happen overnight. Olmert tried for that and failed. Now it is time for something that might actually work. Benjamin Netanyahu knows that peace will have to be worked toward and will take many steps.

I hope he can do it. If not, at least he will keep innocent Israelis safe.
