Israel has sent officials to Cairo to work out the final details of a Gilad Shalit prisoner swap. Shalit, kidnapped while not murdering people, is going to be swapped for hundreds of murdering terrorists. I am against the deal, but I am excited that Shalit may be coming home soon.
High ranking officials made the trip. The head of Shin Bet and a high ranking negotiator are in Egypt now. No word on if he is alive, but it looks like his body or a living Gilad Shalit will be home soon.
