by Eric on February 20, 2009

President Shimon Peres has given Benjamin Netanyahu the opportunity to form a majority coalition in the Knesset that would allow him to become the next Prime Minister of Israel.

After a very close election, Peres had to decide between Kadima’s Tzipi Livni and Likud’s Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu has about two weeks to form a government.
