Kadima Keeps the Lead, Likud Has Most Support

by Eric on February 11, 2009

Both Avigdor Lieberman of Yisrael Beiteinu and Shas’ Yashi have pledged support to a government led by Likud’s Benjamin Netanyahu.  This is more proof that Kadima’s one seat majority over Likud may not be enough for Tzipi Livni to form a government.

This chart, from the Jerusalem Post, shows the right and left party split visually.  This breakdown gives the right 64 seats.  The left would have 56.  It seems now that all Kadima has done in the long run is hurt the historic Labor party.
