Iran To Go Nuclear in 2009

by Eric on February 7, 2009

Russia has committed to activate an Iranian nuclear reactor in 2009. The Bushehr nuclear power plant is scheduled to go live this year, putting Israel and the rest of the world in a more immanent threat. The head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation will be in Iran in February to map out a more detailed time table.

With the recent launch of an Iranian satellite, Iran has demonstrated its ability to send a warhead across the planet. With nuclear fuel on top, Iran will have a nuclear bomb.

One of the waste products of nuclear power is weapons grade plutonium. Russia said that all spent fuel will be returned after it is used, but I don’t trust any of it. The Iranian contract with Russia is approximated to be worth $1 billion.
