The War in Gaza Continues: A Recap

Almost a week of Israeli military action in Gaza has taken a toll, but rockets keep firing from the territory.

Nearly 400 Palestinians are dead, of which the vast majority are linked to Hamas and other terrorist groups that have target Israeli with an onslaught of attacks since 2005.

Israel has bombed the home of a Hamas leader who stored weapons at his house. Israel also bombed a mosque used as a cover for hundreds of rockets.

Rockets are regularly hitting Sderot and Ashkelon and have reached as far as Beer Sheva.

Israeli attacks have targeted terrorists while Palestinian rockets have hit homes and schools.

Israel is now allowing foreign press into the Gaza Strip to document what is happening there. Undoubtedly Pallywood type stories will begin to emerge soon.

This war is bad for both sides, but Israel must continue to act to defend Israeli citizens until the relentless rocket attacks end.
