Obama Does Not Make Ludicrous Demands of Israel

by Eric on January 28, 2009

After a week in office, President Barack Obama has taken time to talk to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, appoint a diplomat dedicated to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and think about what to do. He has pushed for an advancement in the peace process, but has made no crazy demands of Israel.

I think Obama has realized that Israel and the Palestinians are at a deadlock until the Gaza border calms and Hamas stops threatening terrorism and war against Israel.

I applaud Obama for working to ease tensions between the West and the Muslim world, and that impact may help Israel in the long run.
