Israel is on the way out of Gaza and Hamas is still intact. Using their regular media and propaganda techniques, Hamas is showing Gaza residents that they won the war. Hamas is still there and Israel left.
Just like when Israel left in 2005, the situation is not improved. Hamas has a broken infrastructure but will rebuild rocket capacity quickly with the help of Iran, Hezbollah, and Syria. Israel left with a public relations dent that cannot be easily fixed. Rocket attacks are still happening.
While Israel caused a big dent in Hamas’ capabilities, the Palestinians won the perception war.
