Decrease in Rockets Though Problem Continues

by Eric on January 4, 2009

IDF forces have reached Gaza City and split the territory in two. Most rocket launch sites have been taken or destroyed. The number of rockets has decreased by about 100 per day since ground forces entered Gaza.

Israeli leaders do not expect a quick resolution to the Gaza situation, and IDF forces are working hard to end rocket attacks on Israeli cities.

Since Israel entered Gaza on the ground, hundreds of trucks containing food and supplies have been allowed into Gaza. This is not a war against Palestinian civilians, this is a war against Hamas terrorists.
