In Mosul, I thought everyone had one thing in common: they all hate Israel. A massive protest against Israel was taking place in Mosul, a city in Northern Iraq, when a terrorist rode his bicycle into the crowd and detonated the bomb strapped to his body.
One person was killed in the blast and another 16 were injured.
Here is the hardest part to believe, some Iraqis are blaming Israel! Sunni political party spokesman Yahiya Abid Mahjoub said that the Iraqi government did not do enough to secure the event. He went on to say that “the ones who targeted our brothers in Gaza are the same who targeted us in Mosul today. They are agents of Israel.”
I can’t believe the blatant lies that come out of these anti-Semites around the Muslim world. There have been regular terrorist attacks between the Sunnis and Shites in Iraq since the US invaded. Now that Israel is acting countries away, it is the Jews that are blowing up Iraqis?
All around Iraq people are speaking out against Israel’s actions. No one complained about Hamas’ rocket attacks though…
