Sixty Rockets Hit Israel

by Eric on December 24, 2008

Hamas launched a barrage of sixty rockets, that’s right- six-zero, into Israel yesterday. This was the worst day of rocket attacks since before the truce began in June.

Rockets hit Sderot, Ashkelon, Netivot, and other populated areas around the Negev. One house took a direct hit and another shook when a rocket landed in the front yard.

I hope Israel’s leaders don’t just sit on their hands while this kind of thing happens. Several small scale operations have taken place, killing a handful of rocket cell terrorists. I think a larger ground operation might be needed sometime soon.
