This is a world wide network if I have ever seen one. Iran is currently under UN sanctions for many reasons, and Hugo Chavez is helping the Terrorist Republic of Iran work their way around the sanctions.
Iran is flying planes to Venezuela using the cover of Conviassa, the national airline of Venezuela. The planes contain parts from Shahid Bagheri, an Iranian division responsible for developing ballistic missiles. The parts are then outside of the UN eye and are sent on to Syria, another violent enemy of Israel.
In return, Iran is sending members of the Revolutionary Guard and al-Quds unit to Venezuela for training and reinforcement of their military and police.
Iran and Venezuela share a mutual hatred of the United States and have shown disregard for the West on many occasions. Iran’s Shahab 3 missiles can hit Israel, and if they made their way to Venezuela could likely hit the United States as well.
