Mixed Dancing in Gaza?

by Eric on November 22, 2008

A report out of Gaza has shown that religious militants are clamping down on all Gaza residents. According to a report from Ha’aretz, there are restaurants in Gza that have mixed seating, have had parties with, Allah forbid, mixed dancing! Hamas leaders are not thrilled about these types of events in their Sharia law territory.

At a religious wedding near Khan Younis, masked gunmen broke in, overturned tables, and lit a fire. The wedding had separate seating and the family was known to be an affiliate of Hamas, however, there was singing!

Hamas and other small militant groups in Gaza are terrifying their own citizens into following Sharia. Even the people who support the unopposed government in Gaza are targeted. Not a life that I would want to live.
