Less Than 72 Hours from US Election

by Eric on November 1, 2008

We are less than 72 hours from the US election. As we watch the countdown on the news channels, it is a good time to do some review. This is a media fed, two sided (yes, I know how) look at the candidates and their relationships to Israel.

Ha’aretz says Obama supports Israel. Period.

McCain, however, says that Obama hates Israel.

Either way, it seems that Israelis support McCain. Most American Jews don’t agree with the Israelis. They support Obama.

Either way, it seems that many Israel supporters are more comfortable with McCain.

What is the meaning of all of this? Nothing really. Both candidates say that they support Israel. Politicians always have detractors. It is really up to you to decide. I am going for Obama.

This is looking like the highest turnout in many, many years. We will all find out on Tuesday who is the winner. Well, unless it is like the last two elections and we have to wait a while.
