The latest numbers show over 120 dead and indicate that many Jews were included. The terrorists took control of multiple hotels and other large buildings. Included was the home of Chabad. Israelis and Jews were specifically targeted.
The carnage is widespread. There are still hostages at Chabad at this moment according to Fox News. I received this letter from my friend Rabbi Yisrael Wilhelm of Chabad at the University of Colorado:
Terrorists have attacked tourist sites in Bombay including the “Nariman House” which houses the Mumbai Chabad Center, which, of course, is a place where Jews from across the world visit. May Hashem answer our prayers and I will share good news when I have it. Sincerely, Rabbi Yisroel Wilhelm
