Israel Preparing for Gaza Operation

by Eric on November 29, 2008

“There’s no doubt we are getting closer to a wide-scale operation in Gaza, but it will be different from what took place in the past.” Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai told media and others.

The cease fire has been breaking apart for the last week or so as increased rocket attacks from Gaza have led to a tightening of Gaza border crossings.

I think it is crazy Israel has held out this long from a major operation. The rocket attacks increased in frequency after an Israeli air strike on a group of rocket firing terrorists.
This picture shows that Gaza city is far from genocide. Sderot residents are afraid of a rocket hitting a house. Gaza residents are just living their lives as usual. It is great that life in Gaza looks so nice. Life in Israel is a little different at the moment. The government is charged with protecting its citizens from foreign forces. They are attacking.
