Israel Places Remote Machine Guns

by Eric on November 11, 2008

The Israeli military has placed unmanned machine guns along the Gaza boarder to protect soldiers in the region. After a number of attacks from within Gaza, Israel is making the move to protect soldiers on patrol.

The remote weapons are equipped with cameras that send a video feed to soldiers off site. The unmanned guns will allow the IDF to fight terrorists entering Israel from Gaza with less risk of injury and death.
