Iran Announces Missile That Can Hit Israel

by Eric on November 12, 2008

Iran announced that a successful test launch took place on the new Sajil missile. The surface to surface missile has an alleged 1,200 mile range, which places all of Israel within Iran’s firing range.

The missiles can also reach locations in Southern and Eastern Europe.

These tests can go on the list of reasons why Israel needs to attack Iran sooner rather than later. A nuclear warhead on a missile like this would allow Iran to launch a nuclear strike on Israel from Iranian territory. That is a risk Israel should be unwilling to take.
