The IAEA is Useless

by Eric on October 4, 2008

The IAEA is supposed to govern nuclear activities around the world. The IAEA asked all nations in the Middle East to renounce nuclear activities in the region. Most Arab countries boycotted the vote.

The IAEA has no real power, and, like the UN, is pretty much useless when push comes to shove. At least NATO acts on threats. When an organization is ignored by most of the world, they have no real purpose.

Iran is not going to give up its nuclear activities without force. Syria is joining in too. It is time for someone to do something.
