IAEA and Israel Near Dispute Resolution

Iran and Syria decided late last week to protest Israel's nuclear program. This put Israel in limbo with the IAEA, and it appears that they are near a compromise.

Representatives of 145 nations met and said a compromise is near. The issue stems from an Arab drafted resolution condemning Israel's secretive nuclear program. Several sponsors said they may consider withdrawing support from the measure if a compromise is reached.
