Haredi Modesty Patrols Get International Attention

Anyone actively following Israel knows about the Haredi modesty patrols that scour religious neighborhoods and towns for non-snius activity. Now they are getting international attention.

I just read an article about the patrols on MSNBC. This is not the kind of publicity religious Jews want.

As the Haredim have always struggled with secular Israelis, it is important to remember that we are all Jews and violence is not an option. We can discuss, put up signs, and protest, but violence should never happen in this way.
