Election Update: Dates and Polls

by Eric on October 28, 2008

It looks like the election is narrowed down to two possible dates: February 10th or February 17th. Israeli readers, be ready to hit the polls. Make your votes count. Here is what two recent polls show for the next Knesset:

Get out there and support your party (unless you support Kadima, Labor, or Meretz). Likud is just barely behind in the polls. It looks like the biggest loser will be Gil in the 2009 election. Likud will be the biggest gainer.
If Likud can take the top spot in February, I could see a Likud-National Union-Yisrael Beiteinu led government.
What do you think? Can Likud pull it off? Will Yisrael Beiteinu join in if Likud takes the top spot? Let the world know what you think in the comments.
