Ask The Readers: Anti-Israel=Anti-Semitism?

by Eric on October 2, 2008

There has always been a stuggle over whether being anti-Israel equates to being anti-Semetic. I am on the yes camp. If one does not believe the Jewish people have a right to their historical homeland, they are against the Jewish people. If anyone said something about the Muslims in Mecca or the Catholics in the Vatican, people would say that is religious descrimination, so why should it be different for us?

What do you think? Is being anti-Israel the same as being anti-Semetic?
