In his lame duck period as acting Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert has been a real pain in the ass. Specifically, he told the world that Israel has no choice but to give up nearly all of the West Bank and half of Jerusalem for a peace deal.
What do I have to say to that? Fine, lets not have a peace deal. You have to draw the line somewhere, and it is not in the middle of the holiest city on the planet. Some people say that Gamla will never fall again. Hearing Olmert, I am worried about the Kotel falling again.
Good thing he is not Prime Minister anymore. There is no big news on the Livni coalition front, and if she is unable to but a government together, we may be stuck with this Olmert guy until the next election, which may be as far off as January or February.
