The Pentagon released a statement that they will, indeed, sell Israel 1000 bunker buster bombs. The bombs will sell for $77,000,000, or $77,000 each. The US believes the bombs will be put to good use against Hezbollah and Hamas underground weapons bunkers, but will do little against Iran.
A military analyst in Israel said that the bombs would be put to good use against Qassam and Katyusha rocket equipment and storage.
The bombs, made by Boeing, can penetrate six feet of concrete. This is plenty for most Palestinian and Lebanese targets but will do little against Iran’s heavily fortified nuclear sites.
