Russia May Build Syrian Base

Russia is known to befriend many enemies of Israel. While Russia and Israel are far from enemies, they are also far from being great allies.

Russia has been given a potential green light to build a base in Syria. Russia sent their only aircraft carrier to the region. They are also sending a missile cruiser and several submarines. Syria and Israel, while talking, are still technically at war. Russia is officially the friend of our enemy.
