Israel Allows Controversial Ship Into Gaza

by Eric on August 23, 2008

Israel allowed the controversial boats carrying activists from the Free Gaza activist group.

The two boats carried 46 people from 17 countries. The symbolic mission from Greece was the first ship to travel into Gaza since Israelis left the area in 2005.

I think they hoped they would be stopped so they could join Amnesty and the UN in demonizing Israel. Not this time.
