Gaza Boats Leave Unhindered

by Eric on August 29, 2008

The two protester vessels that sailed from Greece to Gaza were allowed to sail next to Cyprus unhindered. The Israeli government did not intervene as they did not want to let the “Free Gaza” group win a propaganda victory over Israel.

There had been discussion of blocking the boats from leaving as they were smuggling Palestinians on the outgoing route.
