DNC Update: The Convention Hall

by Eric on August 22, 2008

I don’t have any way to get my pictures up yet, but I just walked through the DNC convention hall. I had one of 5000 tickets given out for the “community open house”. What did I see?

I was simply amazed by the transformation from sports arena to Democratic National Convention HQ. The lights and screens were beautifully built. I saw more fiber optic wiring than I will ever see in my life. I saw news setups from around the world.

One interesting note, I saw a booth setup for Al Jazeera broadcasting. I guess they are one of the biggest news sources in the world, but that doesn’t mean I like them.

Pictures and more updates to come. I will also be present for the big Obama acceptance speech at Invesco Field. I’ll keep you all in the loop.
