The AP reports that President Bush took a call from Prime Minister Ehud Olmert shortly before Olmert announced that he would resign as Prime Minister of Israel. Bush said that he plans to work with Olmert closely for the duration of his term, and wishes him well in the future.
It is ironic that a corrupt, lying Prime Minister would turn to a President who lied to the world about Iraq before he began a war. They are both about to end their terms and they are both liars. They should spend a lot of time together at the President’s ranch when they are done being leaders of nations. They can drink cocktails and count their payoff money from oil companies, rich executives, and so on.
