Likud party chair Benjamin Netanyahu assumes that there will be an election, and he is starting his campaign.
One major promise made by the former Prime Minister is a renewed focus on education. Bibi wants teachers salaries increased, a focus on early Israeli leaders in the classroom, and a focus on teachers rather than administrators. He wants to see Israeli schools in the top 10 in the world.
It is nice to hear an Israeli leader talk about making positive change in the education system. It is much nicer than intra-party squabbling between Tzipi Livni and Shaul Mofaz.
