Another Party Battle In Israel

by Eric on August 27, 2008

Ehud Barak has become synonymous with Avodah. The Labor party chair has enjoyed a non-challenged reign for quite a long time. However, his time without an opponent may be comming to an end.

While a battle for the leadership of Kadima rages on, MK Ami Ayalon suggested that he may arise as a competetor for the Labor party chairmanship. He hinted that an anouncement may come in October.

I think Barak proved that he is in the Knesset for power, not for the good of Israel. His refusal to break the coallition with Olmert showed that he is not concerned with helping Israel, he just wants to be on top.
