2 More US Aircraft Carriers Headed to Middle East

Kuwaiti newspapers have reported that the United States is sending two additional aircraft carriers to the Middle East. This may be in anticipation of a war with Iran, but it is hard to speculate as nothing has officially been declared. This could be a scare tactic or to alleviate Israeli security concerns.

Reports say that a ship is going to the Persian Gulf and a ship is going to the Red Sea.

While no official announcement has been made, it is speculated that the ships are the USS Ronald Regan and the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Kuwait is preparing for a possible war in the region. During the first gulf war Saddam Hussein’s Republican Guard set fire to many Kuwaiti oil wells.
